In the year 1958 our Godfather Late Shri Jayramsa Gopalsa Darbi started a small shop with the name of ‘Shri Ambika Cloth Stores’ in Guruwar Peth, Solapur. Going forward the volume and reach of our customers increased & for customer’s convenience we came up with multiple branches in every market of Solapur.

In 1980’s we introduced a brand of our own name ‘DARBI’. Our motto was to ‘Honestly Serve The Quality’ & we’ve been working as per this motto to serve our customers.

In the year 1981 we came up with our first fabric showroom named ‘DARBI MARKET’ in Tilak Chowk, Solapur. Today with immense pleasure we would like to tell you that we trade in both ‘Retail & Wholesale’. We have a department solely dedicated to wholesale trading in which we supply uniforms for corporate & small business staffs.We also supply goods to ‘Retailers’ at local and interstate level.

Our Retail counter serves a wide range of fabrics like Suitings, Shirtings, Cotton, Linen, Khadi, Silk & Denim Fabrics designed for parties, meetings, get-togethers, formal wears & casual wears too. We have an independent ‘’White House Department” where we serve infinite varieties of white coloured fabrics. We also have an exclusive wedding collection with infinite varieties of fabrics for Kurtas, Jackets, Suits, Sherwanis, Indo Westerns & Safaris for making our customers wedding program colourful & memorable.
