The Department of Paramedical Sciences was started in 2005 at the time of inception of SBO Global Education. Paramedical department has several faculty members with postgraduate qualifications many of whom are pursuing PhD in Medical Sciences. The faculty are ably assisted by an adequate number of laboratory managers, technicians, clerical and service staff. The department renders diagnostic services to the tertiary care hospital attached to the institution. The diagnostic sections include Histopathology, Cytopathology, Hematopathology, Clinical Pathology, Blood banking and Transfusion Medicine. An average of over 250 patient samples is processed every day in our laboratories. Specialised services like intraoperative consultation for frozen sections and Immunohistochemistry are also available. A well-equipped departmental library with over 200 books is available for the reference of undergraduates, postgraduates and faculty.
